After 1972 production the lower hinge drain channel was molded into the fiberglass body as it was manufactured, therefore the lower hinge pillar section of the seal used from 1968-1972 was abandoned. This 1973-1982 style can be used on 1968-1972 Corvette by leaving the intact lower hinge section attached and just replacing the upper part.
The windshield pillar post weatherstrip mounts in a retainer track, that runs the length of the side of windshield, it is 21" long.
Made from LATEX. Latex gives the look, feel and “softness” of OE style weatherstrips. Softer than EPDM and has original style "skin" as found on OE factory weatherstrips. Allows for excellent fit, finish and functionality.
