Mounted into the steel retainer track that runs vertically along the windshield post, this seal forms the front edge of the door and roof junction—keeping water, wind, and debris out of the interior.
While originally designed for 1973 and later models, this seal is also a popular solution for earlier 1968–1972 Corvettes. GM eliminated the molded lower hinge drain channel starting in 1973, so 1968–1972 owners can use this later seal by trimming and retaining their original lower section, replacing only the upper 21-inch portion that installs in the track.
