Tech Note: 1986-1996 VATS (Vehicle Anti Theft System) equipped Corvette Ignition Lock Cylinders are supplied with a "non-VATS" key that may be used to cut a new VATS type key sold below. You may determine the correct VATS code by having it determined by your local Chevrolet dealer or you may use an ohm meter to measure the resistance of the resistor pellet in your existing key.
