  • Description

1968-1982 C3 Windshield Pillar Header RH Corner Frame Assembly 3936310 - OEM Number(s) (3936310)

Corrosion in the upper windshield frame often starts at the corners—right where the outer chrome trim seats and moisture hides. This 1968–1982 RH Windshield Pillar/Header Corner Frame Assembly restores the passenger-side steel support at the junction of the A-pillar and windshield header. It welds in just like the original and provides a solid anchor for weatherstripping, trim, and roof panel fitment.

• Direct replacement for GM part number 3936310
• Repairs RH corner of windshield header and pillar junction

Right Part. Right Spot. Right Result.
The orange-highlighted part in the diagram shows the RH corner brace directly beneath the bright chrome trim that surrounds the windshield opening. This area is vulnerable to moisture retention and trim distortion when corroded. Replacing this section restores structural support and ensures correct positioning for weatherstrip and trim reinstallation.

Because Details Matter
Even minor corrosion around the windshield can compromise trim fitment and water sealing. This RH corner assembly reinforces the original structure, ensuring that your windshield trim sits flush and your roof system seals like it should.

Under the Straw Hat – Restorer’s Insight
This small corner of steel does more than you think. It's responsible for holding the upper trim line straight, ensuring proper A-pillar seal pressure, and tying the roof structure into the birdcage. If your trim doesn’t sit right—or your t-tops leak despite new seals—there’s a good chance the real problem is hidden behind the chrome. This part lets you fix it the way GM did: with welds, not guesswork.
