The valve guide on an Air Cooled VW engine controls valve stem alignment and sealing — and worn guides allow oil to pass into the combustion chamber, cause valve stem wobble, and accelerate valve seat wear. This high quality bronze valve guide is a direct fit replacement for both intake and exhaust positions on 1200cc to 1600cc Air Cooled VW engines. Bronze construction provides superior wear resistance and heat dissipation over cast iron originals for long-term reliable valve train service.

Available in two sizes — standard 8mm (T146) for correct fit in standard bore cylinder heads, and +.002 oversize (T147) for cylinder heads that have been bored or show wear beyond standard specification. Select the correct size for your application before ordering. Sold individually.
