This is a bag of 10 nylock nuts for general use. It is a good idea to keep some extra hardware laying around in case you need it. This nylock nut has a nylon collar on its back side. When a screw reaches the collar, the threads and nylon connect for a tight, frictional fit, restricting movement on the screw with it is subjected to vibration. The nylon will deteriorate at temperatures above 150 degrees.
