Lightweight flanged Volkswagen Heat Exchangers are for owners who want a little heat, once in awhile, but don't want the weight and lost performance of original heat exchangers. These units are essentially a header tubing that is mandrel bent for increased flow inside the OE style outer tin. Our heater boxes come with flanges to connect to your flanged extractor/muffler system for protection against exhaust leaks that can develop when trying to pump the exhaust of a performance engine thru a factory style slip fit/clamp connection. Buy them individually for custom applications or SAVE MONEY when buying the set.
