Originally referred to as Bosch, GBC, torpedo, or bullet fuses, the ATS series of fuses were used air cooled VW's. The body of the fuse is either ceramic or thermoplastic and color-coded by amperage.
Most local automotive supply companies don't carry this special fuse, so purchase a set now.
Keep some in the glove box for that unexpected blow out.
