1962-1979 Engine Case Stud Kit 8mm Chromoly Dual Port
If you have a higher performance Volkswagen then you need these Chromoly Race Studs. These have increased impact yield and tensile strength due to a higher carbon and nickel content then other studs. Corrosion resistance is also realized due to the higher nickel content. These are a must for Volkswagen race applications because of the 12 point aircraft style torsional lock nuts. This new design ensures that the torque remains constant.

Note: These will fit all cases when threaded for 8mm. 8mm case studs are used for late cases with dual port heads, or when converting early cases with single port heads, to 8mm studs.
Note: These will not work if you are retaining Single Port Heads.
Note: These studs have an odd number of long and medium studs. This is kit is for a case with a deep studded #3 Case Insert. That is the reason for the odd number of longer studs.
