The Weber 44 IDF steps up where the 40 IDF leaves off — designed for larger displacement Air Cooled VW builds up to 2200cc that demand maximum airflow, maximum fuel metering control, and maximum performance. Separate idle and main circuits with changeable air and fuel jets give the tuner complete control over fuel metering at every point in the RPM range. Intake air is metered by changeable venturis and the accelerator pump is adjustable for maximum acceleration. Jets, gaskets, and repair parts are available worldwide for long-term service support.
Pre-jetted for VW engines — the 44mm IDF is suitable for engines up to 2200cc. Velocity stacks are included with the 44 IDF. Sold individually — two required for a complete dual carburetor setup. Rebuild kits are available separately.
