Single Filament 1156 Light Bulbs
These 12 Volt 21 Watt, single filament bulbs are used in several Air Cooled Volkswagen models where a single bulb in the tail light housing serves both the brake light and tail light functions.
Commonly used as a turn signal bulb and also used as a taillight bulb or brake light bulb, this common little signal and tail light is found throughout numerous Vintage VW models.

Air Cooled VW Bulbs are sold in pairs so you always have a spare. (Note: Beetles and Ghias were originally 6 Volt through 1966. 1967 was the first year for the 12 Volt system.)
