These 1973-1977 Standard and 1973-1979 Super Beetle Seat Back Panels are essential to your seat restoration. They are precision-cut pressed cardboard and fit between the front seat back springs and the frame. They protect your new seat covers from damage when someone in the back seat pushes on the front seat and when you tilt the seat back to the forward position. If you are putting new seat covers on, you will certainly want this product. The original ones are usually torn, tattered or deteriorated to the point of no repair. The units are cut on OEM patterns so they fit your seats properly.
