TECH NOTE: Most voltage regulator failures are caused by worn or dirty electrical connections.Consider cleaning all connections with our electrical contact cleaner and a small brush and replacing the positive and negative battery cables and transmission to chassis ground strap whenever replacing a voltage regulator.
