Increase front-end rigidity and handling precision with this chrome-plated strut tower bar. Designed specifically for 1971–1979 Super Beetles, this 33-inch stabilizer bar spans the front suspension strut towers, reducing chassis flex and helping maintain consistent alignment under load. By limiting body deflection in corners, it improves turn-in, increases high-speed stability, and delivers a noticeably more connected steering feel. Includes mounting brackets and helm joints with jam nuts for secure adjustment.

Tech Notes

Installation Notes
Park vehicle on level ground. Do not lift or jack up.
Loosen the three factory strut top nuts on one side—do not disturb strut alignment.
Remove nuts and install the strut bracket. Repeat on opposite side.
Assemble helm joints to tie-bar (note LH and RH threads); include jam nut on RH side.
Adjust bar length to align with brackets.
Install washers inside bracket tabs and at bolt/nut locations. Torque evenly.
