Our High Performance 1700 lb., 200mm Clutch Kit includes a brand new Kennedy 1700 lb. pressure plate, metal woven HD rigid clutch disc and new release bearing.
The Pressure plate is designed with removable collar so that it can be used on all early or late 200mm clutch applications. Pressure plate is balanced, load tested and jig assembled, designed for all performance engines up to 200hp.
The optimum Clutch Disc for off-road, performance street or the drag strip, the Pro-Grip's unique surface lining helps to eliminate hard shifting and popping clutches that can cause transmission or pressure plate failure. Manufactured of an exclusive, thermodynamic lining, this clutch disc eliminates hard grabbing problems to meet today's high horsepower demands, yet maintains the feel of a stock disc. 200mm Ceramic Competition Clutch Disc is exclusively recommended and used by the best VW engine builders in the world!
Special feramic pads are bonded and riveted to a strong steel center plate to yield instant clutch response and withstand the rigors of off-road and competition demands. Plus, these units remain unaffected by oil, grease or heat.
