Our OEM Quality Brake Light Switch provides a direct fit in order to get your Air Cooled VW brake lights working correctly again. There are two switches required per Master Cylinder. This Switch threads directly onto the master cylinder, and is compatible with 12 Volt, 3 Prong systems.

Tech Note: Since you will most likely need to bleed your brakes after installing this new switch, Mid America Motorworks recommend's you change both switches on your Air Cooled VW master cylinder at the same time. Be sure to order the same switch as what you currently have, as there is some grey area on these. However, the 3 prong switch can be used on earlier models by just not using one of the prongs.

What is the difference between OEM and Reproduction Quality?
