If your Air Cooled VW is hard to start or floods during idle, a faulty float may be the culprit. This rectangular carburetor float restores factory fuel shutoff action inside the carburetor bowl by keeping fuel levels steady and preventing overflows. Cracks or degradation in old floats allow them to sink—causing rough starts, gas smell, and poor drivability. Our replacement float fits the stock Solex 30–34 series PICT carburetors used on 1500cc–1600cc engines and ensures reliable fuel metering with every cycle.
