• Does not fit Bus 1972-79
• If you upgrade from a generator to an alternator you will need one of these with fuel pump pushrod 300-788 (our alternator conversion kits do include these)
  
• This pump can be used on an engine with a generator (1961-1971) provided the pushrod is changed for the shorter 100mm 300-788
• Will NOT work with the longer 108mm pushrod 378-951

Tech Note:

For correct functionality of your Air Cooled VW Fuel Pump, be sure to use / order the correct length Fuel Pump Push Rod.

If your Air Cooled VW uses a generator, you will need the “Long Type” Fuel Pump Push Rod - 108mm or 4-1/4” in length

If your Air Cooled VW uses an alternator, you will need the “Short Type” Fuel Pump Push Rod - 100mm or 3.94” in length
