This 85.5mm Flat Top Piston Piston & Cylinder Set is a direct fit for your 1600cc Volkswagen.This is a new set of standard 85.5mm Type 1 pistons and cylinders. This kit requires no machine work and will slide right in to any 1500 or 1600cc air cooled VW engine making it a 1600cc.
Engine size: 1600cc
Stroke: 69mm
Cylinders: Cast Iron.
Pistons: Hypereutectic aluminum alloy
Compression Height: 39.5mm
Kit included: 4 Cylinders, 4 Pistons, A set Piston Rings, and 4 wrist pins and clips.
Tech Note: Air Cooled VW Pistons need to be installed in a specific position. This is usually marked on the top of the piston. Please be sure to install your new pistons with the arrow pointing towards the flywheel.
