When lowering the front end of your Air Cooled VW Beetle, it is crucial to pay close attention to your Volkswagen's suspension geometry. Our Air Cooled VW Lowering Hardware will help you get it right. If you are lowering your car 2" or more you will need to install 2 sets of Caster Shims and 1 pair of extra long Axle Beam Bolts. The ball joint area is also often neglected, which is remedied with our specially modified Ball Joint Kit that allows more suspension travel for lowered Standard Beetles.
