Muffler that is the original style made of steel, has a preheater pipe on LH side and bolts up to exhaust port as original.

If you have a 1973 or 1974 model with an EGR valve outlet on the mufflersee Related Items Tab.

Note: If you remove the fuel injection from your late model Bug and switch to Carburetor and stock heat exchangers and inlet manifold this is the muffler you need unless you prefer a performance version.

Note: If your preheater pipe is on the opposite side do not worry, this muffler will work just fine.
