Our new Air Cooled VW Fuel Pump Push Rod is a must if you are replacing your fuel pump. It is very common that this part shows signs of wear and gets shorter over time causing lower fuel pressure and poor engine performance.
This is the long Style for engines with a Generator, 108mm, 4 1/4" push rod.

Install Tip: When installing, the pointed end goes down into the engine.
Tech Note:
For correct functionality of your Air Cooled VW Fuel Pump, be sure to use / order the correct length Fuel Pump Push Rod.
If your Air Cooled VW uses a generator, you will need the “Long Type” Fuel Pump Push Rod - 108mm or 4-1/4” in length
If your Air Cooled VW uses an alternator, you will need the “Short Type” Fuel Pump Push Rod - 100mm or 3.94” in length
