These Air Cooled Volkswagen Heat Riser Gaskets will fit 1200cc (40HP) to 1600cc engines. These gaskets seal the gap between your intake manifold heat risers and the exhaust heat riser ports. The heat riser system is for carburetor cars and the heat riser takes the hot air from the exhaust ports and forces it up into the intake manifold to make cold starts easier.
