When you install hubcaps, you need to be careful as the caps are somewhat easy to dent if installed incorrectly. With a lot of wheel manufacturers and different tolerances we have found it is best to always “dry fit” first to see how tight the “grab” is going to be. Sometimes, it is necessary to simply bend out the inner most lip of the cap in the areas where it is going to hit the wheel tabs. This can be done with an ordinary set of pliers. If you have to bend the tabs after installing simply give the cap a twist to make the marriage even better. We also recommend to use a soft rubber mallet with a cloth to cover the outer most edge of the cap just before you snap on. This will eliminate the chance for scratching your new jewels.
