This 1949-1966 Beetle Sedan or Convertible Rear Apron with 2 Exhaust Cutouts is 100% correct for 1965-1966 Beetle Sedan's and Convertible's.

Due to earlier aprons being out of production or incredibly expensive, this apron can be used on earlier models from 1949-1964. The deck lid mount area is threaded for 1965-1966 models.

When used on pre-1965 Beetle's, the welded deck lid latch needs to be removed from the original apron and welded to the new apron. Light modification is also required to the deck lid lock area on pre 1964 Beetle's.
