1946-1979 Rear Axle Nuts 36mm with Flange Pair

When replacing your Rear Axle Hub Nut on your Air Cooled VW, it will require either a breaker bar, torque multiplier, axle nut beater tool, or an impact to get off and on. Torque specs are between 260-300 ft lbs. Always replace the cotter pin with a new one.

Our Rear Axle Hub Nut with Flange is Standard Thread and will fit either Left or Right Side. 2 are required per car. Sold as a pair.

We offer 2 different Rear Hub Nuts. Either will fit the designated applications.

• The Rear Hub Nut with Flange was used on 1967 Up applications.
• The Rear Hub Nut without Flange was used on Pre-1967 applications.
