1946-1965 Wheel Bearing Front Outer Roller, Reproduction Quality

This Air Cooled VW Wheel Bearing is made for the front outer and includes the inner race with tapered roller bearings, cage and outer race. The outer race must be carefully pressed into the brake drum. Make sure you use a high quality bearing grease before installation and don't forget a new grease cap.

This is a Roller Type Bearing. Ball bearings have round balls inside the outer "race"/bearing housing. Roller bearings have a cylindrical bearing in the housing and can usually support more weight because it has more surface area.
