1946-1965 KYB Front Shock Absorber Lowered Excel-G Each
Does your Air Cooled VW Beetle or Karmann Ghia bounce up and down uncontrollably when you hit a bump, or does it make a big thud sound? Chances are you may need a new set of Air-Cooled Volkswagen shocks!
KYB's Excel-G Series shocks and struts are specially designed to deliver moderate handling. A patented check valve minimizes foaming and aeration to make sure the ride is stable, even under rough conditions. Excel-G Series Shocks are a low pressure gas twin tube design. Good for normal to moderate performance driving.
Overall length is 16 1/4" from the top of the upper mounting eylet to the bottom of the lower mounting eylet. Collapsed this shock measures 11 3/4" Long.
Note: This shock will not lower your Air Cooled VW, it is designed to work with a king/link pin front end that has been lowered. It is shorter than the factory shock to provide more cushioning travel for ride comfort of lowered VW's.
