1966-1973 EMPI Single Quiet Black Muffler with Chrome Tip

Add performance enhancing airflow and achieve that classic Volkswagen sound. Single Quiet Muffler with Chrome Tip fits 1300cc to 1600cc based engines. This muffler is for Off-set, Non Centered Headers. Painted black for rust protection. Paint will burn off.

This VW Muffler mounts in the 1 o'clock position on a small 3 bolt flange and can be used with J-Tubes or stock heater boxes. Kit includes mounting hardware and gaskets.

Note: this EMPI Black Muffler is coated with a layer of paint. This paint acts as a rust inhibitor for shipping and storage. Finish will burn off once the muffler is hot. We recommend clean this coating with a good solvent. Paint muffler with a quality Hi-Temp Paint.
