Beetle Front Gravel Guard Installation Instructions:

  1. Press the included beading onto the top edge of the gravel guard to protect your paint.
  2. Line up the gravel guard with the bottom edge of the front fender.
  3. Tuck the end of the guard between the running board and the fender.
  4. Bend the first lower tab around the inner lip of the fender to loosely hold the guard in place.
  5. Work your way up the fender, gently pressing and shaping the guard to match the fender curve.
  6. Bend the two upper tabs around the inner lip of the fender.
  7. Once positioned, go back and firmly crimp all the tabs to fully secure the guard.

NOTE: Remember to be gentle but firm when molding the guards to your fender. Following up with a pair of pliers with cloth wrapped around the jaws will protect your paint and give a nice tight fit after a final crimp of each tab.
