My C2 (1963-1967)  did not come from the factory with air - will this system work?

This conversion system work with original AC equipped Corvettes and with original heat only Corvettes. This specific Perfect Fit Elite system allows you to retrofit an original, standard, heat-only 1963-1967 Corvette to full air-conditioning. Engineered specifically to use your original heater controls and dash louvers while providing you with powerful air conditioning, heat on the floor, and dehumidified defrost. The air conditioning and defrost connect to the original heater-defrost diffusers.

Can I install this system easily by myself?

Installation is a "Breeze"! The 1963-1967 Corvette Perfect Fit Elite air conditioning system is designed specifically to bolt into your 1968-1976 Corvette with minimum modification to your vehicle. Is this a generic Air Conditioning Conversion Kit?

Not Just another aftermarket Air Conditioning Conversion Kit. This C2 1963-1967 Corvette Perfect Fit Elite system is not your typical, one-size-fits-all, low-quality, aftermarket air conditioning system. Every component was chosen for its superior design and quality rather than a low cost. Our RETROFIT designs give OE quality combined with better than original performance and reliability.

The Perfect Fit Elite Corvette air conditioning system is engineered to actually fit a your Corvette correctly. It comes equipped with carefully sized, large, separate A/C and Heat coils just like factory (OE) systems, not combined A/C/Heat coils often found on aftermarket systems. The separate coils improve the cooling and heating capacity of the total system.

What about after installation serviceability?

All C2 Corvette Perfect Fit Systems evaporators are assembled using spring metal retainers, and are screwed together to enable you to service the entire system (if the need ever arises). Beware of glued together units that are expensive to replace.

Are the Coils adequately sized to cool my Corvette correctly?

All systems coils are engineered with carefully sized, large separate A/C and Heat coils just like factory (OE) systems. The separate coils improve the cooling and heating capacity of the total system.

Will the fan blow enough cool air?

State of the art SPAL High Output OEM style blower fan assemblies with internal heat sink speed controllers for thermal protection. Excellent air volume with less electrical amperage. This is very important when installing on older vehicles where the electrical systems are not upgraded to modern standards.

Warranty

Classic Auto Air warrants that the products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, driving conditions and service for a period after the invoice date as follows:  Perfect Fit™ complete systems – 3 years

Our only obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace, at our option, the defective part. If you suspect a part is defective, you must call us immediately or void the warranty. If you get an RGA (returned goods authorization) number and include a copy of the original invoice, we will pay the freight on returns of the defective products. You must properly package the item and include a written explanation of the problem. We are not responsible for labor, loss of use, or any other incidental or consequential damages or expenses of any kind.

This warranty is voided by misuse, alteration, improper installation, accident or neglect, including installation of any refrigerant or additive other than R12 or 134a.
