How can I tell if my 2005-2013 Corvette requires early or late floor mats?
General Motors changed production in May of 2007 on how Corvette Floor Mats are held in place. Early production C6 Corvettes (prior to May of 2007) utilizes posts to secure the floor mat, while late production uses hooks to secure floor mat. If your C6 Corvette uses posts, please order 2005-2007E floor mats. If your 2007L-2013 C6 Corvette uses hooks, please order Late Floor Mats.
How can I tell if my 2013 Corvette requires an early or late "hook style" floor mat?
To add to the "confusion" of C6 Corvette Floor Mats, GM once again relocated the positions of the mat anchor hooks mid-production 2013. The most reliable way to identify this change is to measure the anchor hook placement of the passenger side floor in reference to the sill. Early 2013 production hooks are 8.25” from the passenger sill. Late 2013 production measurers approximately 9.5” from the sill.
