What are C4 Standard Seats?
Standard Seats are the seats installed in your C5 Corvette if optional RPO Sport Seat were not ordered. The typical Standard Seats do not have adjustable seat bolsters or adjustable lumbar supports. Typical standard seat design and seat cover patterns vary from the RPO Optional Sport Seats. Identifying the Standard C5 Seat I easy – they do NOT have an opening below the headrest and above the seat back insert. Standard Seats were also the seat installed in C5 Z06 Corvettes.
What are C5 Sport Seats?
C5 RPO AQ9 (1997-2000) and in Preferred Equipment Groups (2001-2004) Sport Seats were available from 1997-2004 at an extra cost when your Corvette was ordered and consist of seats with adjustable bolsters and have adjustable lumbar supports and controls. Typical Sport Seats have a different pattern and design of the seat covers than the Standard C5 Corvette Seats and Z06 Seats.
