1997 LS1 Knock Sensor Switch

If your 1997 C5 LS1 Knock Sensor is bad, you may notice engine pings/knocks, poor fuel economy, high emissions, the dreaded check engine light, or in a worst case scenario; internal engine damage. Avoid unnecessary damage to your Corvette and consider checking your knock sensor at the first sign of trouble.

1997-1998 early Corvettes used a knock sensor with a locating tab. 1998 late Corvettes did not use the locating tab.
