    Automotive Grade Vinyl is used to create these custom seat covers, including a perforated vinyl insert to achieve original style. Expo knitted velour cloth on the console side bolsters completes these covers to restore the original look of your Corvette interior and create a custom look that gets you noticed.

    Each Single Color Vinyl Sport Seat Cover is expertly hand-stitched in Effingham, Illinois by a single craftsman, using sunguard UVR bonded B-92 polyester thread to withstand extended exposure to the sun's rays. Each set of custom handcrafted covers takes 7-10 hours from start to finish, with the resulting seat covers delivering an instant upgrade to your interior.

    1997-2004 Corvette Standard and Sport Seat Differences

     What are C4 Standard Seats?

    Standard Seats are the seats installed in your C5 Corvette if optional RPO Sport Seat were not ordered.  The typical Standard Seats do not have adjustable seat bolsters or adjustable lumbar supports. Typical standard seat design and seat cover patterns vary from the RPO Optional Sport Seats. Identifying the Standard C5 Seat I easy – they do NOT have an opening below the headrest and above the seat back insert. Standard Seats were also the seat installed in C5 Z06 Corvettes.

     

    What are C5 Sport Seats?

    C5 RPO AQ9 (1997-2000) and in Preferred Equipment Groups (2001-2004) Sport Seats were available from 1997-2004 at an extra cost when your Corvette was ordered and consist of seats with adjustable bolsters and have adjustable lumbar supports and controls. Typical Sport Seats have a different pattern and design of the seat covers than the Standard C5 Corvette Seats and Z06 Seats.

    All factory installed OE Style Corvette Leather Seat Covers were a combination of Leather Inserts and Vinyl Outer Seat Bolster coverings. Due to finish of Leather and Vinyl Fabrics, slight tonal values are inherent in this design.

    The entire seat cover including Seat Inserts and Outer Bolsters are made of 100% leather. Seat Covers are of one tonal value.

     

    What is the meaning and purpose of Perforated Leather or Vinyl?

    Fabric that has systematic holes punched in a specific pattern on a section of the seat for looks and for “seating ventilation”.  Perforated fabrics are used on seat inserts and sometimes on the inner areas of seat bolsters.
