Do your C5 exterior door handles make a loud "clap" sound when released? If so you need our genuine GM 1997-2004 Corvette Exterior Door Handle Bumper. These bumpers were original equipment on all C5 exterior door handles. Over time the bumper wears enough or has fallen out entirely allowing the spring loaded door handle to come in contact with the housing. If not corrected this can cause damage to handle assembly and the paint finish.
There are 2 bumpers on each handle and 4 required for complete vehicle installation. Sold individually.
