Transform your 1997-1998 Corvette's engine bay with this LS1 Fuel Rail Lettering Kit! Installation is fast and easy thanks to the automotive grade, double-sided adhesive backing that holds fast, yet will not harm the factory finish. Each letter is precision cut for an exact fitment in the recessed lettering portions on your factory fuel rail covers. These letters are flexible for easy installation and resistance to dents. The prep stage is extremely important to allow for proper adhesion, otherwise you run the risk of premature wear. This kit includes alcohol prep pads to thoroughly clean your fuel rail covers prior to installation.
This kit features the Corvette script lettering as well as a color matched surround that fits into the recessed area around the 5.7L script and ribs. Each individual letter in this kit is accurately computer cut to properly fit your LS1 fuel rail covers. Each letter fits snugly in to the recessed lettering portions of the factory covers and the 1/10" thickness provides a raised look that gives the appearance of an emblem and gives your covers more depth. NOTE: It is very important that you take care to thoroughly clean the installation area prior to applying the adhesive backing. Be sure to thoroughly clean inside of each recessed letter on your fuel rail covers with the provided alcohol prep pads and scrub away any dirt or contaminants that could interfere with the adhesive's bonding. We recommend also applying an adhesive promotor (not included) once the area is dry after cleaning and allowing it to cure before applying the adhesive for the best results.
