Three of the components in this 1984-1996 L98 Corvette Hood Anti-Squeak Retro Kit are OEM equipment for 1993-1996 Corvettes.

The Corvette engineers added them to eliminate squeaking & vibrations created when painted inner surfaces at the rear of the hood rubbed against the firewall.

We developed the 4th component especially for the L83/L98 distributor cover to cushion contact with the hood and the resulting noise.

Now you can add this protection to your 1984-1991. Seals are adhesive-backed for easy installation.
