1978-1982 C3 Goodyear Polysteel Radial Tire with Large Letters 225/70R15
In 1978, Goodyear became the sole OE supplier for new Corvette tires and they released their second generation radial tire, the Goodyear Polysteel Radial. This tire introduced the new P-Series radial tire capable of matching the handling performance of the Corvette. This Goodyear Polysteel Radial Tire is built to the design specs of the thirty year old original while complying with current DOT safety and performance regulations.
C3 owners keen on originality and authenticity will find this to be the replacement tire of choice. Every nuance and detail, from tread pattern and depth, to the small raised white letters for 1978 models and the correct large raised white letters for 1979-1982 models, has been reproduced in exact detail.
This particular Goodyear Polysteel Radial Tire with the large lettering was originally available from the factory from 1979-1982. However, if you are not concerned with correct originality, this tire will also fit 1978s for a custom look.
