1977 and 1979-1980 Carburetor Idle Stop Solenoid
The 1977 & 1979-1980 Carburetor Idle Stop electromagnetic device is on the carburetor linkage. It maintains specific throttle opening for certain idle speeds while the car is on. It also allows the throttle to close further when the car is off, shutting off the engine's air supply to prevent run-on.
