1977-1982 C3 Emergency Hood Release Stainless Steel Cable Set
Nothing is more frustrating than having a hood release cable snap on your C3! We have seen it happen too many times. This is why we designed our 1977-1982 Corvette Emergency Release Cables.
A simple solution so you can have peace of mind knowing you can open your Corvette's hood at any time by simply pulling on your emergency lanyards. Installation is fast and easy.
Kit consists of two stainless steel cables - one for each latch. Each cable works independently and stay within reach in the event one of the factory cables breaks or other factors are not allowing the factory release to work.
The stainless steel braided cable main cable is approximate 37" in length, pull cable with loop is approximately 13-1/2 inches and is 1/16" in diameter.
