When replacing the mufflers on your 1976-1978 Corvette always replace the Rear Y-Pipe for the best exhaust installation end results.
The stock Corvette Y-pipe can rust through, causing excessive noise and, worse yet, deadly exhaust gas leaks.
Our 2.25" Stainless Steel Rear Y-pipe will accept any OE style 2.25" inlet replacement mufflers.
Pipe diameter outlet (2.25") must coincide with the inlet diameter of your muffler selection. Manufactured from 14-16 gauge 409 grade stainless steel tubing.
