Tank Prep Instructions • Seal all tank openings using rags and duct tape • Add a solvent such as carburetor cleaner, acetone, or MEK • Insert several small metal parts (nuts/bolts) and shake vigorously • Repeat cleaning process until solvent drains clear • Remove rags, tape, and hardware; let the tank air-dry completely
