Introduced during late 1969 production and used through the end of the 1975 model year, this die-cut 2" thick black sponge rubber shield mounts between the frame side rail and the underbody—just forward of the #2 body mount location. It helps reduce heat transfer and shields the mount area from road splash and debris.
