Restore precision and control to your C3 with our remanufactured 1969-1982 Corvette Steering Gear Box. Each steering gear box is completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. Each unit then undergoes a complete rebuild that includes all new bearings, races, seals, lock-nut, shim, expansion plug and gasket. Finally each box is filled with fresh grease, sealed and hand adjusted to factory tolerances.

Important Note Regarding 1969 Corvettes: We have encountered 1969 Manual (non-Power) Steering equipped Corvettes that use the earlier 1963-1968 Steering Gear Box. The Early 1963-1969 style has a completely round input shaft.  The Later design 1969-1982 has a flat area (D shaped)  machined in the input shaft.
