1968-1980 Edelbrock Carburetor 650 CFM Thunder Series
The Thunder AVS Corvette Edelbrock carburetor is designed and calibrated for optimum street performance in small block and big block engines. The Thunder AVS Edelbrock Carburetor have all of the performance features of Edelbrock's Performer carburetors, with an added twist the Qwick Tune secondary air valve. This air valve can be easily adjusted to kick in the secondaries early or late and no extra springs are needed. These CNC-profiled, ball-burnished aluminum carburetors feature black accented hardware and GM/AMC throttle linkage. Also included with every C3 Corvette Edelbrock carburetor is an owner's manual. There are two sections to the manual, the theory of Operation and tuning procedures which will help you be prepared to develop your own individualized calibration. The second section explaines tuning procedures that will take you through a step-by-step procedure that will enable you to achieve a desirable calibration. For added ease of tuning, a Calibration reference chart for your model of carburetor will be included. This carburetor performs best when matched to Edelbrock Performer, performer EPS, RPM Air Gap, Torker II or other brand intake manifold of similar design.
