1968-1972 C3 L88 Style LeMans Headlight Conversion Kit
Corvette Racing in the 1970's spawned many "form follows function" innovations that put the Corvette in the Winner's Circle worldwide. Completely engineered and manufactured in the US, the aerodynamic plexiglass bulb shields and fixed headlight conversion lend a distinct and aggresive look to your Corvette whether on the street or the track!
This kit was developed in the early 1970's by and for the Corvette Endurance Racing Community. The Kit includes the necessary lenses, aluminum housing panel, bulb brackets and related hardware components to eliminate the stock Vacuum controled pop-up headlight assemblies. Bulb Cups and Retaining Rings must be transferred from your original assemblies. Lens panels are supplied slightly oversize at the perimeter to allow installer the option to position as needed to suit the headlight aim strategy.
NOTE: The design of this kit uses a fixed channel to secure the leading edge of the lens to allow quick removal and replacement of a damaged lens in racing conditions. The #4 Lemans Corvette (shown) has a hinged design which proved more prone to collision damage.
