1968-1969 Windshield Wiper Door Vacuum Actuator
This vacuum controlled Late 1968-Early 1969 Design Windshield Wiper Door Actuator mounts on the right hand side of the firewall to assist in the opening and closing of the wiper door. Restore safe and proper operation to your windshield wiper system.
This Wiper Door Actuator entered production in late 1968 and continued through mid-1969 production. The late 1968-early 1969 style is the canister design with a straight vacuum tube and has 5/16-18 threads on the actuator shaft. The early 1968 design is similar but has 1/4" threads on the actuator shaft and the late 1969-early 1971 style is shaped more closely to resemble the "pie pan" style headlight door actuators. .
