We've taken our best selling 1975-up style HEI replacement distributor and married it with our 642253 Electric tachometer conversion kit to allow you to easily upgrade the ignition and tach on your 1965-1974 Corvette. Our GM Style HEI Distributor produces a 45,000 volt spark, 67% more than a stock distributor, at all speeds from idle to 7,500 RPM. The hotter the spark, the faster and cleaner the air-fuel mixture burns, giving you more power and lower emissions. To handle the high voltage, the C3 Corvette HEI Distributor includes a new control module, premium cap with brass terminals, special rotor, and a polished billet base and housing
