1963-1982 Rear Body Mount #4 with Cage & Nut
The Corvette #4 Body Mount Interior Cage Nut is made up of a steel support located inside the rear of the interior, which also supports the convertible deck lid hinge, an outer steel support which sits between the body and the frame of the car and a nut and cage located inside pillar column, which allows the body to be bolted to the frame. Some of these parts are located inside the fiberglass body and some outside the body, but all must align with each other perfectly.
